Re: Mail problem
Hello,
Are you properly masquerading the second server. If your server A allows relaying
from the internal network - that is one thing.
But servers on Internet need to know
either the MX- or A- resource record for the
second server. I would hope you are masquerading on server A or somewhere else.
Otherwise, the email from server B will most
probably never reach external sites.
As Dennis suggested, check the email log files on both servers.
Cheers,
VK2COT

Re: Mail problem
Shalom,
You should definitely check /var/adm/syslog/mail.log on both systems, if they are both HP-UX /var/log/maillog if the target system is Linux.
If you post some examples from these files, help can be made much more specific.
In general, corporate LAN environments do not permit direct delivery of mail to the public Internet.
Instead a relay server is designated and the servers inside the Corporate LAN use the DS directive in sendmail.cf or smart host relay in sendmail.mc, compile a sendmail.cf file and send all mail via relay.
