Memory Utilization Queries

Hi All,

We are experciencing performance based issue on memory utilization in HP Unix 11.31 version.Orcale EBS 11 g database  and 11 i  is the application running on the server.The Swap memory is the default one for the oracle usage and the physical memory is less utilized which results in the performance downgrade.

So please clarify our queries is that the physical memory to be used on full extend along with the swap consumption.

You say you have a performance issue?

You seem to have plenty of free memory.  I suppose you could increase the amount of shared memory for your database.

SGA size is already 12 GB,kindly advise..

You can increase it to 16 GB and see if things are better.
