Mirroring Npar ???

Hi all,

I installed 4 vpars in my rx86.. series server. i mirrored all boot disks in 4 par's. But whether i need to mirror the 1'st vpar in the npar mode or not.

Can some one explain..

just mirror it like all the others.

Just make sure the AUTO file on **each** disk contains something like

"boot vpmon -a"

but NOT "boot vmunix", just in case you cold boot from the disk!

i done everything and system is booting via both disks in vpar mode. but my questions may i need to miror the 1st vpar ( that is my npar if i booted in npar mode ). in the npar mode also...

No, from OS point of view there is no difference if run in nPar or vPar mode here.
