Anyone know if there is a restriction on which local disks can be used to boot from on a rp8420? This is with HPUX 11.11
There are four local disks.
c0t6f0 at 0/0/0/2/0.6.0
c2t6d0 at 0/0/0/3/0.6.0
c4t6d0 at 1/0/0/2/0.6.0
c6t6d0 at 1/0/0/3/0.6.0
I used c6t6d0 for the mirror disk but I was not able to boot from it. I'm wondering if there's a restriction based on where the local disks connect. I know the system can be partitioned.

Re: Mirroring rp8420
setboot had the wrong path for the mirror disk and lvol4 was mirrored to a SAN disk, so the mirror copy to local disk failed.
