Monitoring P800 SMART Array from HP-UX v3

Hi,

We are about to purchase an rx3600 with HP-UX v3, and a SMART Array P800 controller. When a drive fails or other errors occurs on the SMARTarray is this logged in the UNIX event log?

Yes, because the diags have monitors for watching this device. You can also manually check it with sautil/saconfig.
