Re: Monitoring tool on HP-UX
HP-UX provides the nettl command to perform network tracing and logging. By default, a basic level of tracing and logging is activated at boot time:
# nettl -status
All Subsytem Tracing:
# nettl -start
Initializing Network Tracing and Logging...
Done.
# nettl -traceon all -entity all -f /manoj/mytrace
# nettl -stop
And yoıu can read via formatted output with netfmt

Re: Monitoring tool on HP-UX
This is the best answer i can give. Glance and gpm are the best real time monitoring tools. Perfview and MeasureView are good Data Collection performance tools. ipcs/ipcrm, mount, nice/renice are good performance administration tools. So it depends on what kind of monitoring you want to do.

Re: Monitoring tool on HP-UX
Manoj,
Sightline Systems collects much more than the basics that you mentioned for HP-UX and offers configurable data retention polices for keeping your historical data. The browser based console (EDM) allows you to visualize data from different systems on one screen.
