Motif window manager (mwm) process dying

I've been searching around this morning trying to find out more on the problem we are having with mwm dying, but I've had no luck.

We use mwm for a Oracle reports process, and randomly the mwm process will die. I can't seem to find any documentation on logs or other areas where I could check on the problem.

The Process we run after system is booted to get mwm up:


[hostname:/home/root] nohup /usr/bin/X11/Xvfb :10 -ac -screen 0 1024x768x8 &
[1] 29244
[hostname:/home/root] Sending output to nohup.out

[hostname:/home/root] export DISPLAY=`hostname`:10.0
[hostname:/home/root] nohup /usr/bin/X11/mwm &
[2] 29445


Process will sometimes die after several minutes, or in best cases I've seen it run for days.

Any help is appreciated.

What HP-UX version are you using?
Nothing in nohup.out?

My mwm manager runs for months.

This is an hp-ux 11.11 box. nohup.out has the attached in it. I'm going to clear the nohup.out so I get recent data only.

Yeah, I saw the below post as well, but I can't even get the process to stay alive when it is manually run. We have a script with the above commands that we execute manually after the server is restarted\brought back up.
