Moving OS between servers

Hi,

I have a couple of old HPUX 11i servers (L/N class).
And I have some RP4440 to which I'd like to move with minimum work.

Will using dd in single user mode will do ?
Any other options ? ignite ?

Re: Moving OS between servers

Ignite is probably the best choice. Make sure the source system is patched to the latest, because the newer servers have newer hardware that needs newer drivers.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

As mentioned by Torsten, Ignite is the option to go here.
