Moving vpar`s between npar`s

Hey Experts,

 

We are planning to move some of the vpar`s from a npar to another npar. both the npars are same hardware model. I would like to know the best and quickest way to move the vpars.

 

I know we can clone using ignite back up but I feel this is time consuming and also I need to allocate SAN disk on the new npar. So, wondering whether I can create an empty shell on new npar and map the LUN`s that are mapped to old vpar to new vpar in a new npar server.

 

Appreciate all your help on this.
