NSR1200 tape visible for restore

Hi

I try to build up a recovery procedure of a Tru64 machine using the installation CD (in order to boot in single user mode) and vrestore for the OS data. The data should be extracted from a tape drive connected to a NSR N1200, and then to the SAN. The machine is also connected to the SAN through a HBA. Is this possible, since after booting the system, (although the wwidmgr -show port reveals the NSR) I cannot detect the tape drives and media changer behind the NSR. The commands I used are :
scu scan edt
scu show edt
hwmgr scan scsi
hwmgr show scsi
with no results.

Any comments are gladly appreciated.
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to restore OS.

Do:
# dn_setup -install_tape
In vino veritas, in VMS cluster

Re: NSR1200 tape visible for restore

It was a very good hint, although the problem was in NSR configuration.
Thank you.
