Need NTP for HP-UX 11i V3

I am missing important NTP components on my 11.31 servers, such as /usr/sbin/xntpd. I want to configure them as ntp clients.
Where can I get NTP for 11i V3 (either download from Internet or from a DVD).

It should be part of the install DVD of 11.31, product NTP ..

Hi,
The stop/start script for ntp is in /sbin/init.d.


/sbin/init.d/xntpd

SAM always had a section to configure NTP, I would think SMH should too.

The packaging of various components has changed in 11.31. You need to install the HPUX-NTP bundle of the Internet Services. See pages 18-19 here:

Actually my question is how to find it on the DVD set and install it if someone did not select it for installation when the server was originally installed.

Put the DVD in.

swlist -i

Take the option to mount the DVD

you will see it

#swinstall
