Need urgent help "stty : : not a typewriter message in Tidal"

Hi all,

ttytype: couldn't open /dev/tty for reading
stty: : Not a typewriter

I get these error messages when i execute a script on tidal. The script works fine on HP-UX but when its scheduled in tidal am getting these error messages.

I tried some of the suggestions provided in the community forum but it didnt resolve the issue.

The .profile looks like this...

Re: Need urgent help "stty : : not a typewriter message in Tidal"

Hi,

The script is basically generating an output file and doing sftp to another server.

The script works fine when i run it on putty and fails when i execute the same script on Tidal (Job scheduler).

This is the detailed description of HP-UX

"HP-UX g1u0556 B.11.23 U ia64 2225755310 unlimited-user license"

i tried to modify .profile with the below commands to protect terminal commands to prevent these errors but still the job is failing...

if tty -s
then
eval $(ttytype -sa)

stty erase
stty echoe
stty intr '^C'
stty kill '^U'

tabs
fi

Please help me how to resolve this...

This should work fine.    A Steven said, are you sure there aren't other files with the same issue?    /etc/d.kshrc?

I.e. why don't you get 4 stty errors?  Try adding "set -x" to the file to see where it is getting those errors.
