Netbackup services on rpc not up

Hi all,
We are facing a problem with Netbackup process since last week. Two of their programs in rpc are not up. They said that these two programs/services need to be up so that backup can run. Netbackup Admin claimed that this problem is on our site. Attach is rpcinfo from A machine (which do not have the two services up) and the other one is from B (which have the two services up) so that you guys can compare. The last two lines of rpcinfo on machine B they claimed should have in machine A.

Machine B

Re: Netbackup services on rpc not up

Shalom,

There may be a need with netbackup to have an entry in /etc/hosts that points to both the netbackup server and the local machine.

netbackup does not rely on DNS networking.

netstat -an | grep
