I am getting a strange problem while using the machinfo command ,i am getting no of cpu =6 wheather it means the no of cpu =no of core

Dear justin
Please use print_manifesto command u can find no.of cpu and a lot of hw information.
also u c an use top command to see the no.of cpu

Solution
The maximum number of cpu modules in a rx6600 is 4 = 8 cores.
With 11.23 machinfo reports the number of cores, with 11.31 it is telling you the number 0f modules and the number of cores per module.
