Not able to export Display with HP-UX 11.31 March 2009.

Hi All,
I am not able to export Display with 11.31 March 2009 installed.
Do we have any issues with March 2009 OS as I am able to export Display with other OS installed.
I have tried it with Sept 2008 -11.31 and it was working fine.

i am facing this issue only with 11.31 March 2009.

Please help me out of here.

Is there anything needs to be checked before doing so as I tried this in 4-5 nodes where I have installed 11.31 0309.

May be some firewall/security settings.

What does that mean? What, exactly, did you
do? What, exactly, happened when you did it?

On the same system or on a different system?
If on a different system, then what makes you
think that the only difference is in the OS
date code?

You first. What is your X server system?
The HP-UX system? An X terminal? Some PC
running some X software? What? Describe
your environment. Describe what happened.
"I am not able" says that you're unhappy, but
it doesn't say much else.

Hi,
I have exported the DISPLAY command.
I have a x server configured and I run following command to export display.
# export DISPLAY=:0.0

I also tried it with linux machine as a host:

# ssh -X hostname
With this command automaticaly display is automatically exported in Linux machine.

I have tried both this command with other OS versions 11.23 and 11.31 except March 09 11.31 and Display is working fine with both the scenarios mentioned above.


I don't know why its not able to export the display.
We are facing this issue with 11.31 March 09 only.
I have reinstalled OS also but still I am facing this issue.

I don't know what this means. I'll try one
more time. After you set DISPLAY, what are
you trying to do? Then what happens? Do you
get some kind of error message?

This is done on the HP-UX system? And
"machine" is your (still unidentified) X
server system? (Should I need to guess?)

This was done on the Linux system? And
"hostname" is the HP-UX system? (Should I
need to guess?)
