Not able to login to the system

Hi All,
We have a HP Server with OS HP-UX 11.11

however ping to the server works fine.
when checked the event.log found the below message. Is anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to prevent this, this is not the first time and we need to reboot the system everytime.

Re: Not able to login to the system

Looks like your DIMMS are having an issue.
Log a case with local HP Response Center for a check.

(This looks like a workstation.)

If you can't login, the server is down. You need to take a memory dump to analyze the cause. It may or my not be the same issue of your single bit errors?

Re: Not able to login to the system

Your diagnostics are from Sept 2002 - you should upgrade!

Is the patch level at the same old status?

Your system has a problem with the memory - review it with stm or call the support. At least a DIMM needs probably to be exchanged.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
