OCR initialization failed accessing OCR device: PROC-26: Error

Hi All

I have rx 4620 installed with HP-UX version 11.23.Oracle 10g has been installed on it. It
has been working for the past one year well .I keep
getting this error message as frequently in the syslog. I also have a MSA 1000 attached to the server throgh Fiber HBA card

I believe it is a oracle problem . I do i resolve the problem

Can u identify whihc disks are defined as OCR and how many disks?is the node part of CRS cluster?is there any voting disks defined?

You would need to explian a little more on your configuration

Hi,

When initializing cluster services, oracle didn't find OCR file.
It's an oracle problem, but, caused by operating system.
You MUST find why this disk wasn't presented to your server, after that, this re-initialize cluster services and it will work.
