********OS async I/O limit 128************

Dear Gurus,

i have oracle database with SAP on PR and DR HPUX 11.23 Servers ..After converting to trusted mode to both machine ,i am unable to sync both database getting warning on DR database trace files Warning :OS async I/O limit 128 is lower than recovery batch 1024 " ...i have checked MAX_ASYNC_PORTS value on PR and DR server(it is 50) and asyncdsk module also loaded ...what needs to be done ? is it OS problem or database problem ?

Hello,

Do you have /etc/privgroup file in your system ?

I hope creating the above file and giving previlages will solve the problem.

#setprivgrp - f / etc / privgroup

Hmmm, the /etc/privgroup should at least have something like this in it:

dba RTSCHED RTPRIO MLOCK
