Hi ,
Just wanted to know whether we need reboot for installing online JFS for our 11iv2 servers ( 2 nodes ) which are in serviceguard cluster.
We have purchased online jfs licenses.
Version is OnlineJFS01 4.1.008 Online features of the VxFS File System.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionI believe it does but you can check for yourself. Just run swinstall with the preview option:
swinstall -p -s /path_to/OnlineJFS.depot "*"
If a reboot is required, swinstall will report that requirement. swinstall will never reboot for any package or patch unless you add the explicit option that reboot is allowed.
