PRINT_MANIFEST not working
I have a rp8420 server running HPUX FOE B.11.23.
When I run "print_manifest" command to collect system information, the command truncates giving following error.
ERROR: Can not read template file: /var/opt/ignite/local/manifest/template.def
Now aborting...
Please suggest:
Thanks & Regards:

Re: PRINT_MANIFEST not working
could you please see what is the Ignite Version and that the Ignite-UX is installed OK? Try reinstalling the Ignite-UX same version.
#swlist -l product -l bundle | grep -i ignite

Re: PRINT_MANIFEST not working
This is a very old version. Download the current version from software.hp.com. The current version is C.7.7.98. Ignite/UX is constantly updated to support new hardware. The effort required to recover the missing file (or files) is not worth the effort. Ignite/UX can be installed on top of an older copy and will not require a reboot.

Re: PRINT_MANIFEST not working
print_manifest shall read and report data well once the Ignite Config is proper and ignite base bundle is installed.
If the Ignite Bundle Is properly installed then you will in all certainty will get the print_manifest to work.
so can see by installing the Igite bundl again.

Re: PRINT_MANIFEST not working
If this system is not an ignite server why to install ignite complete depot for client you only need IUX-Recovery
This can be easily installed by script add_new_client -s ignite server ip address
This script is available in /opt/ignite/bin on ignite server.
remember to remove all old ignite software beforw you install IUX-Recovery
