PSP hp-snmp-agents break native snmp

I've tried the last three PSP, with any of them after I upgrade to SLES 10/sp2...if I start hp-snmp-agents then all snmp times out. Error log has nothing.

I stop hp stuff and restart native snmp, starts working (snmpwalk call used to test). I won't EVEN get into the perfomance issues as seen by all.

Re: PSP hp-snmp-agents break native snmp

Hmmm. Should work - I haven't come across this problem. Loads of others, but not this.

Check that sudoers has:

# Following entries were added by HP Insight Management Agents at
# Sat Apr 18 18:23:58 BST 2009
%hpsmh ALL=NOPASSWD:/etc/init.d/snmpd
%hpsmh ALL=NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/snmptrap
# ---------------------- END --------------------

in there. Also, check to see if there are entries in your snmpd.conf file:

# Following entries were added by HP Insight Management Agents at
# Sat Apr 18 11:27:52 BST 2009
dlmod cmaX /usr/lib64/libcmaX64.so

The 191.9.10.120 would the address of an HPSIM server.
