PSP on SLES 9

does anyone no a way to load PSP without installing the drivers without using a gui? i only want to use the hardware monitoring functions.

Shalom,

Untar it and install the rpm's you want.

rpm -ivh rpm_name

You will probably need to deal with a few dependency issues.

Grio,
You have two ways to do this without using a GUI.

1) You can use the -y switch on the installxxx.sh command-line. The -y allows you to choose which components get installed in a [Y/N/Cancel] format.

2) You can edit the bp00xxxx.xml file. In the last section of the file, you will see a list of the components that will be installed. Prior to each component name there is an

Also make sure to check the PSP install log file after it completes the install.

/var/log/hppldu.log
