Patch install Failure

Hi,

While trying to install a bundle of patches on HPUX v11.11 , I obtain an error that i can resolve myself. This error is about kernel compilation. You'll find the output of swinstall just below.

Thank for your help !

Re: Patch install Failure

Please check first if you have enough space available in /stand.

Hope this helps!

Re: Patch install Failure

There is enough space on /stand.
Swinstall check, during the Analyzing, the space necessary to install the patches :

------------------------------------------
NOTE: The used disk space on filesystem "/stand" is estimated to
increase by 5949 Kbytes.
This will leave 180534 Kbytes of available user disk space
after the installation.

Re: Patch install Failure

But I'm not sure if it calculates the space needed for the complete kernel backup ... anyway, I think you may have enough space.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
