Greetings,
I am looking at installing a RIS server in preparation for a large order of systems that we will be taking delivery of over the next few months. Is it possible to have the patch sets defined in either the install.cdf or config.cdf files to be installed? Or do the patches have to be loaded once the base OS is completed?
Regards,

Solution
Hi Blake,
The patches have to be loaded after the OS install. But, they can be done during the postreboot stage of the RIS instal. You will need to configure the network and then access the patch kit via NFS or FTP. You can use the duptach CLI to run dupatch from a script in a non-interactive mode.
Hope this helps.
