Paused Linux workstations need reboot

Hi We have some Linux workstations running RHEL AS 4, which require a reboot if paused for a long time? Any ideas why? Thanks.

¿Can you explain a little better the problem?

What do you mean with "paused".

¿What happens to the workstation? ¿Is it slow, is it hang?

¿How do you "reboot", can you use commands?
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Workstations that have been locked using the xscreensaver.
