Ping Problem
I have workstation in Windows XP its LAN network its ping the all machine in workgrioup but i cannot ping that machine from machine in workgroup

Windows firewall blocks ping by default.
If thats not the case check the network hardware and firewalls.

On at the command prompt, run:
ipconfig /all
verify the ip addresses of each other machine that you want to ping.
There are some rules that you should obey for ping operations to run properly.
First, the ip address should be either on the same network or should be routable by the default gateway...

Windows firewall is by default configured to permit the windows system to ping but prevent all others from pinging it. The default also blocks network services like shared drives and printing.
