Hi,

How to get the detail of active and passive port range for FTP

basically FTP uses the two port nos as standard

20 for data
21 fpr control

In active ftp the client decides the port, and it notifies the server which port it uses for the data transfer. Usually, with the command port as 21 and data port as 20.

In passive mode it is the server decides the port.
