Re: Presented LUNs
1)can u please say how many LUNs have u assigned in all to the HP-UX server in Question?
2)what is OS versionand rElease of HP-UX on the server also good if u can say what is the model?
3)if u want to assign the LUNs to the server and want to add to an existing VG can u just give the result of the command #vgdisplay -v
4)Do u have enough free space on the EVA4000 that u want to create a LUN in the desired RAID level?
Regards

Re: Presented LUNs
You should be able to present at least 8 LUNS from the EVA/4000 to HP-UX
Depending on OS level and driver installation since all this hardware is pure HP you should be able to add many more.
If you are having trouble, please add an error message.

Re: Presented LUNs
You can present as many LUNs as the EVA can manage to HP-UX without an issue...

Re: Presented LUNs
Care to share some more detail (such as what actions you take to present more vdisks. step by step)?
You did make sure that HPUX was slected as the operating system when presenting the vdisks from Command View didn't you?
