Printer Configuration on HP-UX11iV2

HI all,

Please help me to configure HP 1320N/ 3500 Printer on HP-UX11iV2 . We are runing oracle e-business suite and application requied the printer to be configurated. need ur help on this.

A couple of points about the printers:

The LaserJet 1320n printer supports the 'traditional' Page Description Languages (PDLs):
PCL5 (PCL5e variant)
PCL6 (a.k.a. PCL XL)
PostScript (a.k.a. PS)

The Colour LaserJet 3500 printer is 'host-based', and does not support those PDLs.

I can't assist with questions on HP-UX, so I've no idea whether or not HP-UX (and/or Oracle) support 'host-based' printers.

Hi,
You have to configure setting of Printer, only after that you can take print.
For this Contact to Oracle Apps Administrator.
Its Application lavel setting, there is option to Set print.

i am referaning to network printer configuration.

HP-UX doesn't support them.
I don't know if you can install them as remote printers to a windows system and have it do the host based printing.
