Printer accounting in Hp-Ux
Could you please let me know if Is there some way to track user wise printer usage in HP-ux .like page log in cups printer.

No, there is nothing in HP-UX to account for printer usage. The reason is that unless each page is formatted and composed in the printing subsystem, it is impossible to count pages. Trivial counts can be made with modified printer scripts by guessing at the approximate number of lines per page for a plain ASCII file. But a simple command line option can change the printer's lines per page, and a formfeed character can eject a page long before the bottom of the page is reached. There is no way to guess how many pages a bunch of graphics will use.
If accounting for printer usage is really required, you'll need to add an accounting module to your printers There are just too many ways to circumvent print accounting for all OS's (including Windows)..
