The queue for a printer declared on an HP workstation has been automatically disabled (due to error 1 according to lpstat).
The command "enable" for that queue has solved the problem. I would like to know in which log file I can find more details about the error.
If memory serves, that printer had been installed with SAM as a remote printer, without error logging option (SAM default). Does that mean that I can't get any information about the error? Even on the printer server?
TIA, Jerome

Re: Printer disabled by HP-UX
The logs for lp are in /var/adm/lp/.
