Problem resetting password with ldappasswd command

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to change password for a user from my HPUX machine (LDAP Client). It confirms me that the password for the user has been updated, but I'm still not able to lgin to the server using the said credentials.

 

#/opt/ldapux/bin/ldappasswd -h 10.6.222.78 -D "cn=directory manager" -w Password123 -c -b "ou=People,dc=acumenasp,dc=fiserv" -l test.user

Changing LDAP password for test.user
New password:
Please use a longer password
New password:
Retype new password:
Updating password in LDAP...
LDAP password changed.

 

 

My Directory Server is on RHEL machine running OpenLDAP (openldap-2.3.43-25.el5_8.1) and my HPUX machine is runnig LDAPUX client (B.05.01).
