Problem to access the ILO through citrix Xenapp
Hi dear,
I've a problem here!
I can't access a customer ILO through citrix xenapp on linux.
I can use almost every apps shared by citrix server without problem expect the ILO webpage. I think that the problem is in the java applet but I can't understand why the behavior is different in linux a windows...after all everything runs on the server!!!
So I think is client problem.
Anybody can help.
Thanks Alex

Re: Problem to access the ILO through citrix Xenapp
It's hard to diagnose the problem without knowing any symptoms.
Please identify the name and version of the browser you're using on the Citrix server.
Then go to this page with the same browser, and click the "Verify Java version" button:
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Which version of Java is installed on the Citrix server?
Also, the iLO type (iLO/iLO2/iLO3) and firmware version would be good to know too.
What happens when you try to log in to iLO? Does the login page appear? If not, what happens instead?
If you can log in successfully, which iLO functions don't work? If you see any error messages, please take a screenshot.

Re: Problem to access the ILO through citrix Xenapp
Shalom,
Step 1
Check network connectivity on the command line with ping.
Step 2
Check if Citrix has the ports you need open blocked. telnet hostname/ip
Depending on results, post here or see the appropriate administrator for configuration changes.

Re: Problem to access the ILO through citrix Xenapp
Hi Guys!
but how do you explain the fact that under windows is works while under linux not?
How can be a problem related to the java/ILO version ?
I can't access internet so the version of java, from java console, is 1.6.0._03.
How can be a network problem if It is a connection done through citrix...and from windows it works?
However I reach the destination server. But I can't run the remote console.
Thanks
Alex
