Problem with HPVM Guest on Blades

Hi All,
I have a HP Blade at 11.23 installed on it.I have installed HPVM sofware Perrier_V350_LR_071012:082726 on it.

From the hpvmconsole when i was trying to boot the HPVM guest i was running into the following problem.

I have applied all the required HPVM Host patches.

Well here is the symptom:
panic: swapconf - no primary swap space configured


You need to verify how you created the install disc, and where/what teh swap was.

My house is the bank's, my money the wife's, But my opinions belong to me, not HP!

Shalom,

You were working on your hpvm host, not your guest. The language you used made that fuzzy.

I believe a disk used for the host OS hpvm is missing. Swap is certainly missing.

You are probably going to have to build the host OS over again. Consider HPVM 4.1 or 4.2

4.1 lets you run Windows 2003 IA64 server, or Windows 2008 IA64 server as a guest. 4.2 eliminates support for 2003.
