Problems with the PWGR Daemon

When this daemon is running, changing of a group takes too much time.
We use user, group and password resolution with ldap.
We run chgrp. There is a delay problem with only one group name. If we will change the file to this group, the command need 1 seconds more than other groups.
We check the LDAP, but didn't found some distinctions. If we extract a tar file and all files will changed to this group, the tar need a long time.
When we stop the pwgrd all group changes runs in the same time.

Have anybody any idea?
