Proxy Server

Hi Gurus,

A simple question!!..

I need to migrate my existent infrastructure to a new one. And if possible with a open-source solution.

Is there any good proxy server that I can use ?

Thanks in advance !!

Re: Proxy Server

Squid is the proxy server by excellence on Linux.

Depending on your "existent" infraestructure, managin Squid may not be as easy, but is very powerfull.

You should use some "tool" like webmin to manage the proxy server if you need an easy interface.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: Proxy Server

Shalom,

squid ships with the OS, costs nothing and is a good choice.

Flexible and powerful as well.
