Question on Voldiskadm

have never replaced a disk before so hence the question have a failed data disk. Have checked LSM and is showing as detached (white).

if i use `replace failed or removed disk` option can i just swap the new disk for the old one ? will voldiskadm take care of disklabel and adding the new disk to the volume?

Any help would be great
