RHEL cluster

Dear All

i want a step by step dowcumentaton of RHEL AS4.6 cluster installation and confiuration i see documents from Redhat but i need more detailed and specific information ( it is running on HP DL580 servers, i will use it as active/passive to run oralce10g cluster

it is not clear to me that if i need to configure a quourm devices to be shared between the servers and how to do this , another thing is how to configure a shared partition etween the servers to run the service and is it acceptable to use LVM for this or not ? kindly clarify

You must use a fence device and optionally you can use a quorum device.

You can use Cluster LVM, that is, your volume group should be set as "clustered". Then if you want to use a file system on it, you should use a shared file system as GFS or OCFS2.
