Re: RHEL4 Linux on HP Proliant DL145 raid setup
If this option is not displayed during the POST, then the RAID has to be enabled in BIOS. Basically, you have to press F10 to get into BIOS, look for the RAID options in the Advanced menu. Step-by-step instructions are available at:

Re: RHEL4 Linux on HP Proliant DL145 raid setup
"Just to repeat, you would need to enable RAID in BIOS before you press F10 or any other key configure RAID."
If it's a G1 server, you could try using the System Configuration Utility, you need to download it and create some floppies to get into the BIOS setup.

Re: RHEL4 Linux on HP Proliant DL145 raid setup
Created 4 Diskettes.. Booted and tried the RAID setup. Looking for a Diskette label RAID setup. None of the Diskettes seem to work.
The Proliant DL145 has NVIDIA IDE RAID.
Is there a utility (HP) to set up the RAID once Linux is running?

SolutionI think you would need to use the standard Linux / Windows software RAID (logical volumes). I'm saying this because I've checked in NVIDIA KB and and Linux support options are limited.
