RP4440 will not boot up - fibre cards keep recycling
Used MP and all the fans and power look good.
Ran error checks and found error 7 and reported the hex numbers to HP. I power cycled the server and it did not even try to go to the machine code to check on cpu/memory for example. Waiting for call back from HP.
The power to root drives and the eva array all look good. Any ideas what may be going on,would be helpful - this a production server.
Thanks -

Re: RP4440 will not boot up - fibre cards keep recycling
how do you see an I/O card power cycling?
Please try
# olrad -q
several times.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: RP4440 will not boot up - fibre cards keep recycling
Yes I can - I also talked to the engineer that will be onsite and he thinks it may be the MP card itself since power has to go thru it and they have seen this happen before, even though MP still works. By the way made a mistake this is an rx4440 not rp4440.

Re: RP4440 will not boot up - fibre cards keep recycling
MP, I/O slots and much more are all components of the system board - analyzes will ensure if this is the culprit ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
