we are facing some problem on HP rx8640 server, when we try to start the
server, the boot device not be found, please check the logs and give
response, Thanks!

Dead disk?
Try to boot from fs0: manually.

You may go to efi shell & run "map -r -b"
to get bootable media.
Remember DOS commands works in efi shell.
you may see some media listed as fs0: fs1:
you may cd to that partition & check if following directory path exists /efi/hpux/hpux.efi exist which contains the boot loader.
Only bootable media contains the mentioned
directory path
try to boot from that partition /media /disk.
It may boot up .other wise recovery console may be used !!

can't rule out deffective disk, check physically on server fronpanel.

This server model require appropriate puplation of local disk in bay. you may referinstallation manual or contact HP.
other option is boot manually and try
