Real time clock and system clock

how to check the realtime clock (hardware clock) and system clock(operating system), which commands should be used?

for example, in linux we can use

$hwclock
$clock

in HP-UX, the date command can check system clock, but how about realtime clock command?

Re: Real time clock and system clock

Hi From OS,

# date

To find the clock at the H/W level

Login to MP
MP> CM

MP>CM> date

NOTE: From MP > CM > date, this will show timings in GMT

while the OS will show the timing for the TZTAB which you have placed.

You use control-B on the console. If you have the MP set up on the LAN you can telnet to it, then use control-B.
