Re: Rebooted server and now it will not boot correctly
stood out to me were:

and:

I'd try booting into single-user mode, and,
if that succeeds, start poking around to see
what I could see (file system full, corrupt
"/etc/fstab", ...).

Re: Rebooted server and now it will not boot correctly

Skipping KRS database initialization - /stand can't be mounted
> vxfs: NOTICE: msgcnt 1 mesg 001: V-2-1: vx_nospace - /dev/root file system full (1 block extent)
- Following needs to be check:
- To boot in single user mode , mount the filesystems , # vgchange -a y vg00 # mount /dev/vg00/
-May be you need to run fsck before you can mount it.
- check if /etc/fstab is ok. Some wrong character inside the file would casue the problem. You can check the timestamp on the file. and then verify the content of the /etc/fstab. keep a backup copy first. # cp /etc/fstab /etc/fstab.old.DATE . If any entry is wrong , then remove or comment it.
- check root filesystem space:
# bdf /dev/vg00/lvl3
If root filesystem is full, needs to cleanup little bit.
- After checking the above two (fstab and root fs) , system can be rebooted in multiusermode , (or just use init 3) and to check further.

Re: Rebooted server and now it will not boot correctly
"I have an rx8620 and rebooted the server to reset a hung DVD."
What was the activity?
Were you trying to copy something to / ??
Not able to mount /stand
and / is full .. Both matters
Boot in to single usermod if not then lvm maintenance , check the free space and try ..

Sooraj
