Reg ABORT_LOGIN_ON_MISSING_HOMEDIR=0
ABORT_LOGIN_ON_MISSING_HOMEDIR
0 = Login with / as the home directory if the user???s home
directory does not exist.
I am using ssh to login .Is that possible the system not to allow the user not to login as "/" even after the parameter ABORT_LOGIN_ON_MISSING_HOMEDIR =0 is set .
Here the OS Is HP-UX 11.11i
I guess some patches are required could any one suggest me its very urgent...?

Re: Reg ABORT_LOGIN_ON_MISSING_HOMEDIR=0
Shalom,
If you said what you are doing it would help.
On face value, it would appear that the user you are logging in with has not the home directory defined for it in /etc/passwd
grep username /etc/passwd
Check the home directory and correct the issue.
Good Luck,
SEP
