Remote printing (LPD) to a non-standard port

Hi
We have a client accessing our HPUX server that insist on us connecting to their three printers using same IP, same LPD Queue name. We differentiate the printers using ports 515, 516, 517.
We achieved that earlier with third-party print software(xi-text from Taricon inc) Now we want to do it using the native LPR on HPUX.
From the posts I have seen on the Forum grazing the subject, this does not seem easy or even possible. Anyone has a take on this ?
We cannot use Jetdirect as the printers are Ricoh brand, not HP

Neither lpadmin which is used to create a remote spooler, nor rlp which makes the connection to the remote printer daemon have an option to use a different remote LPR port.

Which model and what kind of printservers do they have? Some non HP printers can be used with jetadmin as well.
