Reserved UIDs
I've seen them as high as 499, but I believe only for RHEL.

It is recommended to not use 0-99 for UID and GID. See the following link.

Hi John:
While the documentation says UIDs in the 0-99 range are reserved, the actual range is a bit larger, in practice.
