Root account automatically gets locked

My root account is getting aoutomatically hets locked in HP-UX 11.11. This problem is coming only after changing the system in to trusted mode. This system is on the superdome so i am able to unlock through console.
Even i ckecked the lastb coomand for root and it shows nothing wrong with thebad login attempt.
I am not able to findout why it is been getting locked?...

Re: Root account automatically gets locked

Does "logins -x" say why or when?

Re: Root account automatically gets locked

You set the user acount to no-expiry

#/usr/lbin/modprpw -k -m -exptm=0,lftm=0,expwarn=0 root

Re: Root account automatically gets locked

Depending on your password lifetime settings, the Trusted System mode might be a victim of the Unix Y2K38 bug:
