Running Linux Live CD

I have a new HP m9350f computer and like to use Linux some times.
When I try to use a Linux live CD or DVD when I reboot I get Gub error 17.

I have checked the md5sums, these are x64 OS's and the BIOS is set to boot from CD/DVD drive first.

But still nothing whatever I do I get grub 17 error.

Anybody have any ideas how to get this working?

If the problem is with grub menu after reboot see here last post - https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub/+question/14606

Re: Running Linux Live CD

Thank you. I have already read something about that. But this is not installed it is a Live CD. Is it possible that something from HP is inhibiting it. Possibly Media Shield or Raid?

Re: Running Linux Live CD

OK. I have this working now. Not sure what it was but openSUSE 11 Fedora 9 and Zenwalk 5.2 Live CD's all work.
