SAM Backup Problem
While taking SAM Backup i am getting some errors as follows.
The command used to retrieve information about HP Surestore Vitual Array has failed.the Stderr is shown below.
unaable to login to AAserver on host :local host for authentication Error logging in :TIMEOUT EXPIRED.
/usr/sam/lbin/get_sdm_ifo[121]:/1:execute permission denied.
Is anyone can help me in this regard.what may be the probable cause ?

it should be
rwxr--r-- root sys /
if not change the permission of /

check thr following.
1. permission od get_sdm_info
2. ownership of get_sdm_info
-r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 3160 Feb 7 2003 get_sdm_info
the ownership of all files in the /usr/sam/lbin
other than link files,rsam,ra_setup should be bin:bin
and the lbin directory also should have bin:bin ownership
regds,
