SAM not installed on a new build server ?
I've just done minimimal build of HPUX 11.00 and for some reason SAM is not there is /usr/sbin.
This is my analysis so far :
# swlist -l product | grep -i system
This showed that the SystemAdmin product was there. I then ran
# swverify SystemAdmin
This showed that
SystemAdmin.OBAM-RUN exists
SystemAdmin.FIRST-BOOT exists
SystemAdmin.SAM does not exist
Can anyone offer a pssible solution please ?

Re: SAM not installed on a new build server ?
Probably that its built into the OS and that you can't remove it.
If thats not true than the installation has been altered or needs to be done over.
